MariaDBをインストールします。
MariaDBはMySQLと互換性があり、MySQLからフォークされた後継です。
まず、MariaDBのリポジトリを追加します。
# vi /etc/yum.repos.d/MariaDB.repo
[mariadb]
name = MariaDB
baseurl = http://yum.mariadb.org/10.1/centos7-amd64
gpgkey=https://yum.mariadb.org/RPM-GPG-KEY-MariaDB
gpgcheck=1
インストールします。
# yum -y install MariaDB-server MariaDB-client
バージョンを確認します。
# mysql -V
mysql Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.1.19-MariaDB, for Linux (x86_64) using readline 5.1
コンフィグファイルを修正します。
# cp -p /etc/my.cnf /etc/my.cnf.org
６行目、７行目に下記を追加し、UTF8を指定します。
[mysqld]
character-set-server=utf8
起動します。
# systemctl start mariadb
# systemctl enable mariadb
# systemctl status mariadb
初期設定を行います。
# mysql_secure_installation
NOTE: RUNNING ALL PARTS OF THIS SCRIPT IS RECOMMENDED FOR ALL MariaDB SERVERS IN PRODUCTION USE! PLEASE READ EACH STEP CAREFULLY! In order to log into MariaDB to secure it, we'll need the current password for the root user. firewallの設定をします。
# firewall-cmd --add-service=mysql --permanent
# firewall-cmd --reload
テスト接続を行います。
下記コマンドでデータベースへログインします。
# mysql -u root -p
Enter password:（先ほど設定したパスワードを入力） Welcome to the MariaDB monitor. Commands end with ; or \g. Your MariaDB connection id is 3 Server version: 10.1.19-MariaDB MariaDB Server Copyright (c) 2000, 2016, Oracle, MariaDB Corporation Ab and others. Type 'help;' or '\h' for help. ユーザー情報一覧を表示します。
